Queensland is proving a popular choice for Sealines with another of the sporty family cruisers bound for the boating playground of Moreton Bay.
Reviewers of the Sealine C335v have praised the boat’s smooth, quiet and assured sea- handling adding-up to a family boating experience that delivers in every department.
Windcraft’s Queensland Sales Manager Gavin Ward says the Sealine C335v (v designates twin outboard powerplants) destined for the waters of Moreton Bay is perfectly suited to the Bay’s dimensions and weather conditions.
“Many of the islands and anchorages in Moreton Bay are a fair way from the main marinas at Manly,” Gavin says. “There are large, pretty exposed stretches of water and the Sealine C335v with its speed and responsiveness will ensure fast and safe passages to where the Owner and his family want to go,” he adds.
The C335v as demonstrated by this video from 50 North Yachts in San Diego, is easily capable of 33-34 knots. The C335v destined for Brisbane will sport twin Mercury Verado V8 300s with Mercury’s Active Trim System, and should do a bit better, reaching 40 knots.
That kind of impressive performance will make the Owner’s favourite anchorages such as the Little Ship Club on North Stradbroke Island or Canaipa, the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron’s ‘down-the-bay’ property on the north-east tip of Russell Island, easy runs across the Bay.

The C335v’s helm position combines maximum operating comfort with modern aesthetics and optimum all-round visibility. Opening the sliding glass door and the hinged window melds the indoor and outdoor spaces between the cockpit and saloon. Fresh air is assured by the electric sunroof and the driver’s door integrated into the panoramic window on the starboard side, which can combine to make this space virtually open air.
However, for Queensland it’s the extra protection from the sun provided by the long cockpit roof which extends over the large L-shaped lounge at the rear of the cockpit, which proved an important factor for the Owner. Extra side screens will also help to take the bite out of the fierce Queensland sun.
Downstairs the Owners cabin maximises natural light with a large hull window and three skylights. A large mirrored wardrobe and mounted shelving offer plenty of storage space, while ambient lighting and first-class materials complement the luxurious feel of the generous island bed. More design smarts have payed dividends in a fully equipped head with separate shower stall.
The feeling of spaciousness design continues in the guest cabin with two single berths, a seat and wardrobe, all practical but well-crafted and stylish.
The design brief was for the C335v and C335 was to equip them with all the comfort of a larger 36-foot yacht. The headroom in the saloon and cabins is unique in this class. The large, extravagant window area in the hull, a new design feature, allows an abundance of natural light below deck.
Reviewers of the C335v praised its combination of spirited performance, family cruising with quality amenities and two generous cabins. The Owner of the Queensland bound C335v will no doubt appreciate all those qualities and its flexibility to cope with whatever Moreton Bay dishes-up.
