What Our Clients Say About Our Yachts

“I was fairly new to sailing and wanted to own my own boat. I looked at many different sailing boats but after speaking to Mary at Team Windcraft I knew the best choice for short-handed sailing for my 10-year-old son and I was a Hanse with its self-tacking jib.
I have owned a Hanse 415 for 1 year now and never looked back. I can easily sail the boat alone or with my son confidently and safely.
Team Windcraft have been there to give advice and support to me every step of the way from ordering the boat and selecting the best equipment options for my needs, through to learning how to sail the boat.”

“I chose the 455 as I liked a couple of features over the competitors, and I also thought (and hoped) that it would sail better. As I now know, the 455 sails really well, remarkably well balanced and high upwind and pretty slippery reaching. In a recent SSANZ two handed race in Auckland we won our division on corrected time but the overall performance on the water impressed us on board. Tuatahi was fast all day and certainly surprised a few competitors. The self tacking jib makes sailing easy and boat very maneuverable but in under 10 knots the 455 benefits from an overlapping headsail.
Overall very happy and pleasantly surprised with overall performance..”

“We wanted to drop a short note to you, thanking all who contributed to the delivery of Breathe last week.
When we went looking for boats we had a number of requirements that we were clear about and many other areas where we were less certain, so were looking for assistance in understanding the options and which would best suit our needs. From our first dealings with Mary we felt that we would be assisted in buying a boat that was specified to meet our needs, rather than what the sales people wanted to sell.
We have been greatly appreciative of the fact that this culture is evident throughout the Windcraft organisation, including sales, administration, commissioning and service. That culture has contributed to us being very happy with Breathe, we are looking forward to many pleasurable years sailing her.”
