Hanse will present four models showcasing the best of the cruising lifestyle at the Cannes Yachting Festival, 9-14 September.
Early autumn in the south of France, the days are still warm and languid, and for a sailor, there’s no better place to be than Port Canto on the Cannes waterfront, perusing the best new yachts from the industry’s top manufacturers.
This year, the Hanse stand will feature a selection of premium sailing yachts:
Hanse 590 – At 17.6 metres (57 feet 9 inches), with all the luxury and space you would expect in a flagship, the Hanse 590 blends cutting-edge design with supreme onboard comfort. The 590 possesses the kind of space and appointments that elevate it toward the superyacht ranks. That’s especially evident in the cockpit with a division between sailing areas aft and a huge socialising/relaxing space forward of the twin helms, complete with stylish meridienne seats, large lounges and twin teak tables.
With the choice of 36 possible layout combinations spanning either three, four, five, or six cabins and the options of a second forestay, in-mast furling, and electric winches, the Hanse 590 offers the potential to semi-customise a premium blue water luxury family yacht for whatever purpose its Owners see fit.
Hanse 460 – A step change in the family cruiser category. The 2022 European Yacht of the Year Winner has been a sailaway success for Hanse, with over 260 hulls sold. Reviews acknowledge the big cruiser’s enviable luxury lifestyle elements; “this boat exudes style with a capital S”.
At 14.6 metres (nearly 48 feet) and with a beam of 4.79m or 15 feet 9 inches, the 460 is a big boat, but it’s easily handled thanks to Hanse’s well-established core values of safe cruising and sailing for a couple or short-handed. Add cockpit space usually associated with a 50-foot yacht and highly generous cabin dimensions, and you have a template for an unrivalled sailing experience in a boat of this class.
There are no fewer than 48 layout combinations to choose from: from three to five cabins, two to four bathrooms, and from six to 10 berths.
Hanse 410 – The Hanse 410 introduces refined aesthetics with a progressive hull design that enhances both performance and handling. Sustainability is at her core – with optional electric propulsion and eco-conscious systems.
Prominent among the 410’s virtues, as noted by various reviewers, is its huge internal volume for a yacht in this size category, thanks to the full bow shape, which means more space in the Owner’s cabin or guest cabins.
The 410 is available in five different internal layouts. The standard version has a large Owners cabin with an island double berth in the bow, a generous dining area to port in the saloon with a sofa to starboard, a roomy guest cabin aft to starboard, and a big storage locker to port. The L-shaped galley with top and front access to the fridge and soft-close drawers is to port as you come down the companionway, while the head has a separate shower stall.
Hanse 360 – European Yacht of the Year 2025, the Hanse 360 offers class-leading space, practical and stylish layout options, a wide range of customisation choices, as well as the signature easy sailing features that Hanses are well-known for.
The 360’s extremely spacious internal dimensions set her apart in this size category. The hull’s volume is facilitated by a mix of hard and soft chines that bring the generous beam forward above the waterline but maintain a relatively narrower hull shape below.
The configuration translates into an extra roomy Owner’s cabin that features a large semi walk-around island bed with enough room for double pillows at the forepeak end, a real rarity in more compact cruisers. There’s also the option for an en-suite bathroom here, another feature normally only found on larger models.
Additionally, the 360’s 3.99 metre beam is carried all the way aft to create a large saloon with a nav table, a large galley with optional extra fridges, and plenty of volume for the aft cabins. The port aft cabin can be a deep sail locker/wet space/storage with access from the cockpit that’s also easily capable of storing a decent-sized deflated dinghy.
