Personalise your RYCK for the ultimate summer with your own custom additions
Our RYCK 280 display model was ordered without any factory sports accessories, leaving it open for full customisation. You can load it up with options like surfboard racks, bait stations, ski arches, and fishing rod holders to create the perfect setup.
Whether its surfing, fishing, wakeboarding or a combination of water sports, it’s possible to customise your equipment with a range of aftermarket upgrades to the RYCK 280 which will take the fun times to the next level.
For instance, the RYCK could be configured for the serious fisho complete with rod holders, heavy duty bait board, live bait tank, large fish storage lockers, even a BBQ grill for a cook-up on the journey home.
The good news is our RYCK 280 display model is available right now and offers the opportunity to create a fast, centre-console sports adventure day boat that is completely tailored to your individual boating needs and desires.
Of course, any custom enhancements complement what is already an accomplished, award-winning sports day boat. Since its launch in 2022 the Bill Dixon designed RYCK 280 has attracted many coverts to the day boating lifestyle with its combination of distinctive lines, dynamic performance, good sea-handling, quality appointments, safe walk-around decks, and genuine weekender credentials.
Summer is all about enjoying and maximising our time on the water and the RYCK seamlessly achieves this. After a morning surf, ski or paddle you can enjoy a long lunch in the large, shaded cockpit or relax with your crew with some cool drinks around the comfortable L-shaped lounge with table at the stern. Windcraft’s display model RYCK has a drawer style Isotherm fridge tucked under the lounge on the port side and boasts extra deck space where a custom wet bar/grill could be installed.
As the sun sets you can choose to zip back to a berth, or if the surf will be good at the same spot tomorrow stay out overnight at a secluded anchorage.
It’s a couple of steps down into the forward cabin through a sliding door, and the interior with its Nordic style wood finishes is stylish and practical. To starboard is a separate toilet with hand basin and storage cupboard. To port of the steps is a galley cabinet for a microwave and up front is a generous vee-berth, with infills to make a queen-sized bed.
Underway the twin-stepped hull with a reverse bow easily gets onto the plane powered by the white Mercury 350hp Verado engine, controlled by Mercury’s incredibly smooth digital throttle and shift (DTS). Top speed is an exhilarating 40 knots, but the RYCK has a cruising range of over 100 nautical miles at over 20 knots.
The RYCK 280 offers a rare combination of providing a fast and safe platform for enjoying leisure activities such as surfing, diving, kayaking, wake-boarding, water-skiing and fishing and the ability to relax back on board afterward in comfort and style. That kind of versatility make the RYCK 280 the perfect passport to fun this summer.
